Mortier, Cory and Mason Families

Tombstone of Barbara Katrina Mortier (c. 1820-1885), Wife of John Mortier (1797-1866).  Although her tombstone states that she was 89 years old at the time of her death, it is more likely that she was only about 65 (see the Mortier Genealogy Report for further information).  Barbara is buried in Zion Cemetery, Jefferson County, Wisconsin.  Photo was taken by Phil Norfleet in 1998.
